About Excelsior II
The Hästens Excelsior II is a continental bed for those with very high demands regarding sleeping comfort. The middle section features Hästens’ unique Swedish-patented spring system, which provides excellent softness and pliability on the surface, and a long lifespan. At the same time the lower section supports your body and offers complete tension-relieving comfort. The mattress has Hästens’ stretch fabric on the top and handles on the sides, and is also edge-stitched by hand for maximum comfort.
Unique layering method
Hästens Excelsior II is made using a unique layering method, featuring more layers of horsehair, cotton and wool than ever before. The new technique means that we divide up the horsehair into several thinner layers, with membranes of cotton/wool placed in between. This allows the springy horsehair greater room to move, and so gives a higher TOG rating and comfort. It boosts both surface softness and pliability, and makes the bed more comfortable.
